What We RIde • Tim Moore's Steezl

The Team at REEB loves riding bikes as much as we love building them for you.  We spend countless hours crafting our rides to suit our individual personalities and  styles.  Take a closer look at the bikes we ride and some of the reasons we choose the components we do!

RIDER PROFILE
Name:  Tim Moore
Association to REEB: Sales Director
IG handle: @timemoore
Height:  5’10” on a good day
Weight: 160 lbs or a touch more in the winter…
Hobbies off the bike: riding, breaking, working on Moto, anything with my family
Favorite ride: Hmm, it's hard to narrow it down.  Trips are most memorable.  Colombia, Mexico, New Zealand, Moab, Bellingham, Crested Butte, etc.
Favorite post ride beverage: DPA is still the go to beer.  Really, whatever’s in the shuttle cooler
Inspiration for bike:  Reliability.  I love bikes and building or repairing customer bikes, but I don’t want to work on my own.  I’m usually boring when it comes to color, but Robbie is helping me branch out.

YOUR BIKE
Frame: Steezl Large The cockpit fits me good while seated and the slightly long reach keeps the bike super stable.
Fork: ZEB 170 stock settings
Shock: Cane Creek Tigon, 450 spring I choose a slightly heavy spring for my weight and run the air support at about 17psi
Tires: WTB Vigilante 29x2.6 Tough front Terravail Eh-line 29x2.6 Durable Rear (rolls fast!),  Tire sealant:  Finishline Fiberlink
Rims: I9 Enduro Carbon front, Grade Carbon rear The enduro front wheel is a little lighter and the Grade rear can take some abuse!
Stem: We Are One
Brakes:  TRP DH-R Evo, Silver Most reliable brakes I've ever used.
Handlebar: We Are One carbon, 790mm ish I think
Bottom bracket:  Cane Creek Hellbender 70
Grips:  OneUp Thick I change grips a lot and usually end up going back to thick grips
Cranks: Cane Creek eWings, 170mm These cranks are several years old and have been on multiple bikes.  They're super strong, light and dependable.

Chainring: 30t, I think it’s an Absolute Black ring currently, but I’m due for a new ring, chain, and cassette, so I’ll go 28t with my 10-45 cassette.
Pedals:  OneUp alloy
Chain: Shimano XT
Rear derailleur:  Shimano XT
Shifter: Shimano XT
Rear cassette: XT, 10-45 I like the slightly smaller derailleur and cassette, I feel like it gives me decent gear range with slightly more ground clearance and smaller jumps between gears.
Saddle: Chromag Trailmaster
Seatpost:  OneUp 210
Headset:  I9
Special touches: Outbound Lights, the majority of my rides are at night.  Cush Core for sure, even on my Hooptie.  No bling necessary.
