The sun was shining, the vibes were high, and the stoke was real for our first-ever Let’s Ride Longmont Weekend presented by REEB and the Hooptie Bike Lounge! With temps in the mid to high 70s and clear skies, it was the perfect kickoff to spring and an incredible celebration of bikes, community, and giving back.
🌼 Spring Sale + Hooptie Hangouts
We launched the weekend with our Spring Sale at the Hooptie Bike Lounge, and we were pumped to see so many new faces roll through! Whether you came in to check out bikes, snag some merch, or just hang on the patio, your energy set the tone for the whole weekend.
🎬 Saturday Night: Can’d Aid Fundraiser + Ritual Film Tour
Saturday night brought the magic. We teamed up with Can’d Aid to host a community fundraiser and screened the Ritual Film Tour under the stars. With cold drinks in hand and a massive inflatable movie screen lighting up the night, folks gathered to watch some of the best mountain bike films out there. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support the cause!
🚲 Sunday Cruiser Ride: A New Tradition?
Sunday morning we rolled out for our first-ever Cruiser Ride, hitting the greenways straight from the shop. The turnout? AWESOME. So many members of the community showed up to ride, cruise, and connect—including one skateboarder who kept the pace strong! The question on everyone’s mind: Should we make it a monthly thing? ❤️ Bike Build: 40 Bikes for 40 Kids
The weekend wrapped up in the best way possible—with purpose. In partnership with Can’d Aid, we hosted a bike build and assembled 40 brand-new bikes for every first grader at Columbine Elementary, right here in Longmont.
On Monday morning, we delivered the bikes to a sea of excited faces, just in time for the end of the school year. It was pure joy—and a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
