CRAFTED RIDES • TWO Custom Hall Passes
Inspiration comes from many different places, and you deserve a bike as unique as you are. Let us help you build your dream bike!
Last October, we met the crew from Da Bike Kitchen in Tokyo, Japan at Outerbike in Moab. We talked bikes, rode bikes and they became our first international dealer.
One customer was so excited about the Hall Pass that he purchased two frames, each built with a completely different riding style in mind. One build was designed for around, all-day trail riding, while the other leaned toward a more aggressive hardtail setup for pushing limits on steeper terrain.
After spending time dialing in both bikes, he sent us his build specs and impressions. It's always rewarding to see how riders make a REEB their own, and even more rewarding when those bikes end up halfway around the world.
Rider Profile:

WORK: Automotive product planning
SIDE WORK: Founder of the MTB & lifestyle apparel brand “THE HARDTAIL BIKEMENT CLUB”
LIVES IN: Japan
LEARNED ABOUT REEB: I first discovered REEB when I saw the STEELZ on social media and fell in love at first sight. After riding the SST and STEELZ at OUTERBIKE, REEB became my favorite MTB brand.
What's better than one new REEB? TWO!
Inspiration for the build #1:
I chose the parts based on the recommended settings for the Hall Pass and the REEB demo bike. It gives me an impression that I can ride it with a feel very close to the SST. Also, by using both aluminum and titanium for the wheelset, the suppleness of the frame really stands out!

Inspiration for the build #2:
I built up this Hall Pass with my favorite selection of parts, aiming for a setup that feels great for hardtail downhill riding. The 140 mm travel brings more of a transformation than I expected. Like the STEEZL, it gives me a strong sense of confidence when heading into downhill sections. The carbon wheels give the REEB a more race-oriented feel, making me want to push harder and attack the MTB park!
